Grand Pops Orchestra
Sat. May 19th @ 7:30 pm. "Summer Hits of the 50s & 60s" The Grand Pops Orch. & Chorus directed by Paul Hemmer performs a variety of summer songs, including hits of the 50's & 60's including "Theme from A Summer Place", "The Summer Wind," "Moonglow & Love Theme from Picnic" and many more.
Saturday Sept 8 at 7:30 and Sunday Sept 9 at 2pm the Grand Pops performs with the Celtic Soul Duo "Switchback" in the world premier of their song cycle "Falling Water River" - a tribute to the men and women of Operation Desert Storm and subsquent MidEast conflicts.
Saturday Dec 22 at 7:30 and Sunday Dec 23 at 2pm presents "We Remember Christmas" - featuring guest vocalist Peter Oprisko from Chicago. Enjoy a variety of popular Christmas favorites by these great musicians.

Simon & Garfunkel Tribute

Ron Hawking ~ Swinging with the Stars
Expanding on the thriving demand for the musical style of artists like Sinatra, Ron Hawking presents "Swingin' with the Stars" – a repertoire of iconic numbers from many great male vocalists of all time including, Bobby Darin, Ray Charles, Billy Joel, and Frankie Valli, to name a few.
Ron Hawking’s success is rooted in his ability to seamlessly step in and out of each personality he portrays on the stage. Going well beyond simply creating an impersonation, Hawking has an uncanny talent to reinterpret and redeliver each song with the same charm and charisma that made the original artists so beloved.

Hunter Fuerste's ~ Swing Out 2012
One of The Grand's most popular attractions for more than 12 years is the re-creation of swing era music performed by Hunter Fuerste's fabulous 14 piece orchestra, the Penthouse Serenaders, and vocalists Bryan Anthony & Amy Dolan.
Ghosts of the Grand
Many say the Grand is haunted. Paranormal groups confirm the fact that there IS a ghostly presense in the 122 year old theater. Playwright Vince Williams and illusionist Craig Beytien have written a show that's certain to bring chills, thrills and laughter as we recreate paranormal events from our historic past with Al Jolson, John Phillip Sousa, Ethel Barrymore, Nora Bayes, the infamous Cherry Sisters and others. This is family friendly Halloween season fun with comedy, music, and special effects!
Christmas Schooner
Based on the trus story of the Rouse Simmons, a Great Lake Schooner whose captain risks life and limb to transport fir trees from Michigan's upper Peninsula to Chicago's German immigrants during the late 19th century. A holiday classic produced by The Main Street Players for The Grand.
